Please Review This Privacy Policy Carefully

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how AME Consulting, LLC and AME Legal, LLC (collectively “AME”) collects, uses and discloses information you provide through www.ameadvice.com and its affiliated sites, pages and social accounts, if any (collectively the “Sites). If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact AME at the information below. Please also review AME’s full Terms of Use, which also govern your use of the Sites. By using the Sites, you are consenting to this Privacy Policy and the related Terms of Use.

Collection of Your Personal Information

While using the Sites, AME may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. When you submit information or inquiry via www.ameadvice.com, AME collects the data requested in order to track and respond to your submission. Personally identifiable information collected by AME may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, address, and details relating to your inquiry or request for services. AME may share this information with AME's service providers, which may include its webhost, scheduler, customer management system and/or email provider.

You may choose to proceed without providing any personal data requested by AME, but it may not be possible for you to gain access to certain parts of the Sites or obtain services.

Usage Data

Usage data is collected automatically when using the Sites. Usage data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Sites you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

When you access the Sites by or through a mobile device, AME may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique id, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browser you use, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

AME may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Sites, or when you access the Sites by or through a mobile device.

International Privacy Laws and Your Rights Under The GDPR

If you are visiting the Sites from outside the United States, please be aware that you are sending information to the United States where AME’s servers are located. Information you submit may then be transferred within the United States or back out of the United States to other countries outside of your country of residence, depending on the type of information and how it is stored. These countries (including the United States) may not necessarily have data protection laws as comprehensive protective as your country of residence; however, AME’s collection, storage, and use of your data will at all times continue to be governed by this Privacy Policy.

If you are a member of the European Union, you have special rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). Those rights include that you have the right to object to the processing of your data and the right to portability of your data. All complaints must be sent to ashley@ameadvice.com. You also have the right to erasure, rectification, access, or to seek restrictions to the processing of your personal data in AME's system. To the extent you provide consent to AME’s processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Any withdrawal of consent does not apply to data collected lawfully prior to such withdrawal. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority containing jurisdiction over GDPR related issues.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

Cookies and similar tracking technologies are used to track activity on the Sites and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze the Sites. The technologies AME may use include:

  • Cookie or Browser Cookies. A cookie is a small file placed on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept Cookies, you may not be able to use some parts of our Sites. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our Sites may use cookies.
  • Web Beacons. Certain sections of the Sites and AME emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit AME, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of a certain section and/or verifying system and server integrity).

Cookies can be "Persistent" or "Session" cookies. Persistent cookies remain on your personal computer or mobile device when you go offline, while session cookies are deleted as soon as you close your web browser. AME uses both session and persistent cookies for the purposes set out below:

  • Necessary/Essential cookies (session cookies). These cookies are essential to provide you with services available through the Sites and to enable you to use some of the features. They help to authenticate users and prevent fraudulent use of user accounts. Without these cookies, the services that you have asked for cannot be provided, and AME will only use these cookies to provide you with the services.
  • Cookies policy / Notice acceptance cookies (persistent cookies). These cookies identify if users have accepted the use of cookies on the Sites.
  • Functional cookies (persistent cookies). These cookies allow AME to remember choices you make when you use the Sites. The purpose of these cookies is to provide you with a more personal experience and to avoid you having to re-enter information or preferences every time you use the Sites.
