This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes how AME Consulting, LLC and AME Legal, LLC (collectively “AME”) collects, uses and discloses information you provide through www.ameadvice.com and its affiliated sites, pages and social accounts, if any (collectively the “Sites). By using the Sites, you are consenting to this Privacy Policy and the related Terms of Use.
Collection of Your Personal Information
While using the Sites, AME may ask you to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. When you submit information or inquiry via www.ameadvice.com, AME collects the data requested in order to track and respond to your submission. Personally identifiable information collected by AME may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, address, and details relating to your inquiry or request for services. AME may share this information with AME's service providers, which may include its webhost, scheduler, customer management system and/or email provider.
You may choose to proceed without providing any personal data requested by AME, but it may not be possible for you to gain access to certain parts of the Sites or obtain services.
Usage Data
Usage data is collected automatically when using the Sites. Usage data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Sites you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
When you access the Sites by or through a mobile device, AME may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique id, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browser you use, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.
AME may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Sites, or when you access the Sites by or through a mobile device.
International Privacy Laws and Your Rights Under The GDPR
If you are visiting the Sites from outside the United States, please be aware that you are sending information to the United States where AME’s servers are located. Information you submit may then be transferred within the United States or back out of the United States to other countries outside of your country of residence, depending on the type of information and how it is stored. These countries (including the United States) may not necessarily have data protection laws as comprehensive protective as your country of residence; however, AME’s collection, storage, and use of your data will at all times continue to be governed by this Privacy Policy.
If you are a member of the European Union, you have special rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). Those rights include that you have the right to object to the processing of your data and the right to portability of your data. All complaints must be sent to ashley@ameadvice.com. You also have the right to erasure, rectification, access, or to seek restrictions to the processing of your personal data in AME's system. To the extent you provide consent to AME’s processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Any withdrawal of consent does not apply to data collected lawfully prior to such withdrawal. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority containing jurisdiction over GDPR related issues.
Tracking Technologies and Cookies
Cookies and similar tracking technologies are used to track activity on the Sites and store certain information. Tracking technologies used are beacons, tags, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze the Sites. The technologies AME may use include:

The Sites are not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and no part of the Sites is designed to attract anyone under the age of 18. AME does not monitor information you disclose on the Sites nor does AME accept any liability associated with your voluntary disclosure of the same.
Links to Other Websites
AME Sites may contain links to other websites that are not operated by AME. You are responsible for reviewing the privacy statements and policies of other websites you choose to link to or from the Sites, so that you may understand how those sites collect, use, and store your information. AME has no control over and is not responsible for the privacy statements, policies or content of any other websites, or the practices of any third party sites or services.
Retention of Your Personal Information
AME will retain the personal data collected from you only for so long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and as AME needs it to fulfill the purpose for which it has been hired, unless such longer period is otherwise required by law, or is necessitated to resolve legal disputes, to enforce legal agreements or policies, or for accounting or reporting requirements.
AME will also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the Sites, or AME is legally obligated to retain the data for longer periods.
Transfer of Your Personal Information
Your information, including personal data, is processed at AME's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in processing are located. It means that this information may be transferred to - and maintained on - computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of information represents your agreement to that transfer.
Deletion of Your Personal Information
You have the right to request the deletion of the personal data that AME has collected about you. You may update, amend, or delete your personal information at any time by contacting AME at ashley@ameadvice.com. Please note, however, that AME may need to retain certain information when there are ongoing services or we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.
Disclosure of Your Personal Information
If AME is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred. AME will provide notice before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. Additionally, under certain circumstances, AME may be required to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to a valid request by public authorities, or otherwise may disclose your personal data in the good faith belief that the disclosure is necessary to comply with legal action, protect or defend the rights or property of AME, prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing, protect the personal safety of others, or protect against legal liability.
Security of Your Personal Information
The security of your personal data is important, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While AME strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, AME cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Notice of Privacy Rights to California Residents
California law requires that AME provide you with a summary of your privacy rights under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (the “Act”) and the California Business and Professions Code. As required by the Act, you have the right to know whether your personal information is being collected; the right to request the specific categories of information a business collects upon verifiable request; the right to know what personal information is being collected about you; the right to say “no” to the sale of personal information; the right to delete your personal information; the right to equal service and price, even if you exercise your privacy rights. Pursuant to California law, AME will provide you with the categories of personally identifiable information that it collects through the Sites, the categories of third-party persons or entities with whom such personally identifiable information may be shared for direct marketing purposes, what third parties AME shares that information with, the names and addresses of those third parties, and examples of the products marketed by those companies, at your request. When contacting AME, please indicate your name, address, email address, and what personally identifiable information you do not want AME to share with third parties. Please allow thirty (30) days for a response. Also, please note that there is no charge for controlling the sharing of your personally identifiable information or requesting this notice.
Limitations
By using the Sites you agree that AME is not responsible for any disclosure of your personal information made by you to a third party through your use of the Sites; any disclosure of your personal information obtained illegally from AME or otherwise accessed with express permission from AME; or any accidental disclosure of your personal information made by AME.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
AME may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any modifications will be effective immediately when AME posts them. The date of last modification will be noted at the top of the Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of a Site following any changes means you accept and agree to any changes.
